The September edition of Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair ended on 16 September 2016 at AsiaWorld-Expo, with 7,501 international buyers having passed through its doors over four days.
The majority of buyers came from overseas, accounting for 56% of the overall total. Director of jewellery fairs at UBM Asia Ltd, Celine Lau, commented that the visitor statistics reflected the Fair’s international status and industry support for this event. This edition also benefited from the organiser’s increased investment in promotional activities across different channels as well as the exciting attractions it offered, such as the popular Editor’s Choice. Also, with men’s jewellery trending upward, the Stainless Steel Jewellery Pavilion continues to be a popular destination for buyers.
Christine Lin, representative of International Alliance Network Corporation, Taiwan, said, “This is the first time we have participated in the September Fair. We met a number of targeted buyers from the United States, Australia and Europe. We are satisfied with the Fair results. We plan to exhibit again next year.”
Anna O. Rutgerson, Purchasing Manager of Nordic Collections A/S, Norway, stated, “I visit the Fair to source products and find new suppliers. I am inspired by the men’s jewellery in the Stainless Steel Jewellery Pavilion. The variety of products in the September Fair is impressive. I will visit again next year.”
